About   the   Process

We buy our materials from sawmills and stockpile it on our production site. Each different product is then allowed to heat for a period of time. Once the product has achieved the desired color it is ground and sized to reach the preference color.

At this point the mulch is stockpiled, then either loaded and shipped as bulk or put into the hopper and run through our automated bagging system.

For colored mulches, the wood chips are ground with a touch of bark and stockpiled. When the material is fed into our "second harvest" coloring machine, approximately two to two and a half pounds of colorant are applied to each cubic yard. After coloring, the material is cured for forty-eight hours. Then it's ready to package or ship.

Please remember, consistent sizing and color is our hallmark!
